Temporary relief.

The exams are finally over. Boy am I relieved of such revelation :)

I'm just disappointed because of two stupid things.

One, all the Smartypantstotally killed me in Moral. I did horribly :(

Two, my Art is totally horrible. I can never kill King Smartypantsin anything aite? I mean, he seems to be better than me in EVERYTHING. I mean it!

If you can think of something I am much better at compared to King Smartypants™ or any of my Smartypants™ fiends, I recommend you spill it now, before I degrade myself and feel lower than the gum of my shoe.

Oh wait.. I've achieved that already T_T

So the only thing I'm good at..

..is being weak?

Screw it.

Alright, forget about it. I shouldn't throw my tantrum on my delicate blog. It has feelings too. Well, my readers have feelings.

So I shall not put you down with stupid talks of mine.

Instead, let's move on to an interesting phase.

PHOTOGRAPHY. Passion of mine :D

I've edited some of my old Penang trip photos. I went back to an old folder to reminisce some good old days when all I could see were the bright blue skies and super alfalfa green grass.

Apart from that, I'm also going to Penang next Thursday, so I recalled my previous trip there two years ago. As I was scrolling through my list of photos, I realized something was missing.

I DID NOT EDIT ANY OF MY PHOTOS.

Typical me, who does not like seeing the beauty of the scene go unnoticed, decided to stay up later just to adjust and edit those 2 year old photos. I didn't edit all of them, so here are the lucky few I have managed to work some magic on.

Or at least, I think I have.

You make me smile like the sun, fall out of bed, sing like a bird, dizzy in the head, spin like a record, crazy on a Sunday night :)

Gurney Drive. I enjoy taking strolls there, with the wind blowing, and the scent of the ocean in the air.

Blue skies need no more description, any bluer that would be fiction.

The Penang Bridge, from Jeti Jerejak.

The waters glimmer like diamonds in the sea when the sun plays its part and shines free.

Some flowers outside the balcony of our room in Lone Pine. I'd say this isn't my best flower shot yet.

The view of the sea from Hydro-Majestic, the hotel my parents were staying at.

View from the jetty. This one's pretty cool. Needed a lot of modification until it was deem presentable.

I wouldn't say this is a good picture of beach view, but it's the only one I found fit to be uploaded.

I'm rather glad I wrote this in the sand. It's my trademark, and it hasn't changed.. Yet.

That's my set of edits from the Penang trip 2008.

I can't wait to go to Penang again. I seriously love that place.

The only thing I hate about it is the difficulty of finding Penang Assam Laksa. I mean, that's where it came from, so there's ought to be a lot of places which serve the dish.

WRONG.

There was NO ASSAM LAKSA anywhere. We scouted all the way into Pulau Tikus ("somebody" claimed it was the best place to find) but the closest we got to was some signature Penang curry noodles, which was of course my first experience trying solidified pork blood. It was like jelly and tasted good. I know this may sound disgusting, but I actually thought it was black tofu.

This time, we're only going to Penang for a one day trip. I plan to visit Hard Rock Hotel, as that was my only reason I wanted to go to Penang. I heard it was really music themed, so I was tempted to go and see it myself.

Then maybe if there's time and some extra cash, I'd have English tea with cakes and scones on a three tiered platter in E&O's 1885 restaurant, since we're staying there. It would be most unlikely, but hey, I can dream right?

I'm feeling rather poetic today, hence my "inspiring" descriptions below pictures.

I don't feel like going for Science tuition tonight. If I have to, I'll disguise myself as a chair and seat myself where no one will see me and I can still concentrate in class. Perfect.

NOT.
