Natural disasters.

I'm sure you have heard about the recent earthquake that occured in Haiti. It's really a sad thing to hear about it, as many lives were sacrificed and a lot of people were injured and lost their homes.

I'm just going to slot in an article by BBC, since I am unable to generate any content at the moment.

A massive 7.0-magnitude earthquake has struck the Caribbean nation of Haiti.

The extent of the devastation is still unclear but there are fears thousands of people may have died.

Haiti's worst quake in two centuries hit south of the capital Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, wrecking the presidential palace, UN HQ and other buildings.

A "large number" of UN personnel were reported missing by the organisation. Many people have spent the night outside amid fears of more aftershocks.

The Red Cross says up to three million people have been affected.

Describing the earthquake as a "catastrophe", Haiti's envoy to the US said the cost of the damage could run into billions.

A number of nations, including the US, UK and Venezuela, are gearing up to send aid.

The quake, which struck about 15km (10 miles) south-west of Port-au-Prince, was quickly followed by two strong aftershocks of 5.9 and 5.5 magnitude.

The tremor hit at 1653 (2153 GMT) on Tuesday, the US Geological Survey said. Phone lines to the country failed shortly afterwards.

There is still no official word on casualties and the extent of the devastation is only now becoming clearer with dawn breaking.

China has already indicated in reports in state media that eight of its peacekeepers are buried and feared dead, with another 10 unaccounted for.

A lot of people, especially peacemakers and people who work for the United Nations were either unaccounted for or died in the disaster. It's really a sad tale, to think of the people, who have been fighting and speaking for rights and justice in this world, gone just like that.

May all victims rest in peace, and God have mercy on each and every one of us.

I'm only talking about the Haiti Earthquake because I have nothing to blog about, and it has been a week I have not updated.

I've been really busy with school work, koku and a lot of other activities, I just don't see what is there to blog about, apart from what I have been doing recently, which is pretty much the same thing and boring shat. So yeah, you get my point.

I wanted to cook this week since I get paid for every dinner meal, but Xiu Xiu Ah Yee just got her first salary, and Teng Teng is back as well, so we're going out to eat dinner. Mum says I can cook for Saturday, but I guess I'm thinking of breakfast. How about pancakes tomorrow?

Every time I think about the new camera I'm gonna get, I become cheerful and it's like there's hope and the feeling of starting afresh starts wafting across in this polluted air, covering all it's deformity. I guess it's a hyperbole of saying so, but I can't help it. It's a feeling.

This is why I want a HDR lens so much. This is what I can come up with.

My classroom Maths teacher is apparently kiasu. She's already finished Circles and she's just started on Statistics II. I'm going to try my best to catch up with her. Same goes to my History teacher. Within a month, she has already completed 2 chapters. Bravo lol.

Chinese New Year is on the way.. I don't think I'm allowed to go shopping. Which means no new t-shirts. And no interesting stuff. Plain old, plain old. Sigh.

I have nothing more to say. I had lunch at 4PM, and now I'm certain I'm really late for dinner. I think I'll munch on some soynuts.

Okay I was kidding I don't have any soynuts at home. I'll go get a biscuit or something.
